NCCER partnered with Explore The Trades to create a free toolkit that brings career exploration resources together in one place.

Founded in 2005, Explore The Trades helps change how students and families see the trades by introducing career possibilities early through engaging resources, industry insights and employer connections across North America.

The kit expands NCCER’s Build Your Future and CareerStarter programs with materials for elementary, middle and high school students, including Spanish-translated content.

Designed to be flexible, this career kit can be used by educators, counselors and volunteers to meet learners where they are. Students can start with early exploration and continue building toward confident next steps as their interests grow.
